Personal Consultation Folder
As a new patient, you will receive a thorough, written, individualized, easy to read dental evaluation in the form of a personal letter with specific suggestions for attaining a healthy smile. Your letter will come in a Personal Consultation Folder that may include digital photos, simple explanations, suggested goals and timeframes for achieving them, personalized preventive dentistry strategies, costs, options, and benefits of recommended dental care. Everything is written down, and specific to your own needs and choices. Most patients say they have never received anything like this before from their dentist.
No Lectures!
Dr. Loshin will not lecture in unintelligible medicalese! Instead, he will listen to you and work with you to prioritize needs, considering your feelings about the pros and cons of each treatment option. The dental staff will research your insurance coverage, help you determine your benefits and file claims. If there is a problem with your ability to pay, please don't let it keep you from the quality of dental care you deserve. And don't worry if you don't have insurance. We'll help you plan for the cost of dental care with payment alternatives that work for you.
Hurting?
Dr. Loshin has a gentle, calming manner. If you are hurting, we can help. Our first concern is your health and immediate comfort. With today's medical resources, we can usually, in the most gentle of ways achieve immediate pain relief. In our office you will be pampered with blankets for your comfort, sunglasses to shield the dental light, soothing stereo music built into the dental headrests and engaging DVD movies or cable TV to make the time pass quickly. Most dental equipment is hidden from view so you can enjoy the territorial view of Union Square's landscaped plaza and the Seattle skyline. You will appreciate
gentle anesthesia techniques, comfy reclining chairs, soft lighting and little touches like lip balm, sugarless mints and even free milkshakes after your appointment.
Embarassed?
It's been awhile, maybe several years, since your last dental visit. Now that front tooth with the bad odor and funny looking gum, is loose! You are worried about how you would look without the tooth. Panic time!
We empathize and we can help. Temporary solutions at reasonable cost are sometimes the appropriate course of action. Because we have an onsite lab, rush cases are easy to accomplish. No matter what dental or personal difficulty you are experiencing, you will be treated with respect. If we cannot help, we will put you in touch with someone who can. With many years of practice in downtown Seattle, our referral network for top specialists is large and readily available to you.
