Ellen
In 1984, Ellen was one of the first patients in Seattle
to have dental veneers placed. At that time the technology
for bonding porcelain to teeth was still in its’
infancy. Patients were told to expect no more than 5-10
years from veneers. Yet for almost 20 years, the veneers
served Ellen well and looked good. Then after two decades,
they finally started to break apart. Ellen wanted to
replace them with restorations that would “last
the rest of my life.” Dr. Loshin recommended a
type of “all ceramic” crown that is incredibly
strong and beautiful. Ellen now has her smile back,
and with the help of enhanced dental technology, she
will most likely get her wish of trouble-free front
teeth for a lifetime.
